I started skating at the age of 3, in Scottsdale, Arizona (USA). I trained as a singles skater most of my life, competing a few times at Regionals & National Showcase. I have a Gold Medal in Moves in the Field, Junior Level Free Skate and Bronze Level Ice Dance through US Figure Skating. Throughout my skating career, I trained off-ice in dance my entire life, including my high school dance team & university level dance courses. After my competitive career, I went on to skate for a small, local ice show in Arizona. From there, I furthered my show skating career with Holiday on Ice. I toured with Holiday on Ice throughout Europe for 3 tours (HOI Believe & HOI Atlantis 1st and 2nd year), performing as a chorus skater while understudying the principal duet and aerial hoop acts.
My coaching career began in the year 2009, assisting in group classes and eventually becoming a private lesson instructor for skaters of all ages & abilities, including competitive figure skaters, recreational skaters, adults & power hockey skills for our youth hockey development program. I coached at the Ice Den in Scottsdale, Arizona for almost 8 years. I am a member of the Professional Skater’s Association and have 3 certifications of instruction through PSA. I have attended many state/nationwide seminars and workshops for coaching as well as choreography in the United States and in Germany. Between show contracts this past year, I coached in Nurnberg, Germany for a couple of months with the TSV 1846 Skating Club. I am currently working on completing a Mastery of Choreography Techniques through American Ice Theatre, while coaching here in Lahti.
